FAQ
Questions venue owners ask about Venue Space
Straight answers, including the things Venue Space does not do yet.
What is Venue Space?
Venue Space is all-in-one software for wedding venues. It gives your venue a branded website on your own domain, a live availability calendar where couples can request a date, a command center where your team confirms or declines requests in one click, a private planning portal for every couple you book, and a page for each wedding where guests RSVP and share photos. Everything runs off the same information, so nothing gets entered twice.
Who is Venue Space built for?
Independent wedding venues run by an owner or a small team: barns, farms, historic halls, estates and event centers. It is designed for venues that want to look polished online and stay personal with every couple without hiring more staff.
Can couples book a date without me?
No. Couples check real availability and request a date. The date is held for 48 hours while you decide, and you confirm or decline it yourself from the command center. Nothing books itself, and you still close every wedding personally.
What happens if I do not answer a request within 48 hours?
The hold expires automatically and the date opens back up on your calendar. Expired holds are released by a scheduled job every hour, so a date is never stuck on hold indefinitely.
How does the AI wedding planner work?
Every booked couple gets a planner they can ask questions at any hour. It answers only from the policies, packages and details your venue has published, and it shows where each answer came from. If a question is not covered, it does not guess. It sends the question to your team, and your answer goes back into the couple's planning thread.
Can I control what the planner tells couples?
Yes. You edit your venue's planner policy as a draft, preview it, and publish it when it is ready. Every published version is kept, so you can see what the planner was working from at any point.
What do wedding guests see?
Each wedding gets its own page with a countdown, an RSVP and signup form, a place to share photos, and well-wishes for the couple. Guests choose separately whether they want event updates, marketing email or text messages.
Are guest photos posted publicly?
No. Photos guests share are stored privately and wait for your team to review them. Only photos you approve are shown, and only to the couple, who decide which ones to keep in their private set.
Is it my website, on my domain?
Yes. Your Venue Space site runs under your venue's own domain with your photos, your story, your packages and your branding. Couples see your venue, not a directory listing.
Who owns the couples, leads and guest contacts?
Your venue does. Inquiries, estimate requests, booked couples and guests who RSVP are your venue's records, captured on your own site rather than rented back to you by a listing service.
How much does Venue Space cost?
Pricing depends on your venue: how many weddings you host, what you use today and which parts of the system you want. Tell us about your venue and we will send pricing that fits it.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. Your venue is set up for you: photos, packages, policies and domain. Day to day, you confirm or decline requests, answer the occasional planner question, and keep each couple's planning tasks on track, from a computer or your phone.
Does Venue Space take payments or send text messages?
Not today. Online payments and text messaging are not part of Venue Space yet. Guests can already say on their RSVP whether they are open to texts, so that permission is on record.
How is my venue's information kept separate and secure?
Each venue's data is separated at the database level, so staff can only see their own venue. Staff and couples sign in with their own accounts, and couples only ever see their own wedding.
